A 32-year-old man from Garden Grove driving an SUV was involved into a two-vehicle crash with a sedan in Montclair that killed two people and left him with serious injuries, police said Sunday.
The crash occurred a little after 10:30 p.m. Saturday in the area of Howard Street and Ramona Avenue, the Montclair Police Department reported.
Montclair is a city in the Pomona Valley, in southwestern San Bernardino County.
The driver and a passenger in the sedan were pronounced dead at the scene, police said, and paramedics rushed the 32-year-old Garden Grove resident and another passenger in the sedan to an area hospital with serious injuries.
Multiple media reports said a five-year-old child was among the injured.
“Impairment may have been a factor in the collision, however the primary cause is still under investigation,” police said.
The Montclair Police Department asked anyone with information regarding the crash to call them at 909-621-4771.
