Authorities Seek Public Help To Find Whittier Man with Schizophrenia

Authorities asked for the public’s help Wednesday to find a 21-year-old Whittier man with schizophrenia.

Daniel Anthony Reyes Jr. was last seen Tuesday at his residence in the 6500 block of Rockne Avenue, according to the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department.

Reyes is described as Hispanic, 5 feet, 9 inches tall and 145 pounds, with black hair and brown eyes. He was wearing a burgundy bomber jacket, blue jeans and a light blue shirt when last seen.

Investigators urged anyone knowing his whereabouts to contact Detective Matthew Preida of the sheriff’s Missing Persons Unit at 323-890-5500, or to report anonymously, call 800-222-TIPS.
